Science/ grade 4- Today’s topic for revision-Which magnets are magnetic- Learner’s book- pages 90 and 91.

Main points-
Mixtures of metals are called alloys.

Iron and steel are magnetic.Many other metals are non magnetic.

We use metals in everyday life.

For example- Iron is used to make machines and cast iron cooking pots.

Aluminium is used to make pans for cooking, aluminium foil and to to build aeroplanes.

Stainless steel is used to make knives, sinks and medical instruments.
