Present simple passive

Good morning grade 7
Today we will revise the use of present simple passive
First, let's know quickly the form of present simple active before moving to the present simple passive
Subject + verb(s/es/ies ) + object
For example
1- cats eat fish and dry food
2- Ali plays tennis weekly

now let's move to the use of present simple passive
FORM : Subject + verb to be + Object
FOR EXAMPLE
1- Fishes are eaten by cats
2- The atmosphere is made of gases

NOTE : We use the present simple passive more in scientific writing as we need to focus more on the action not the person or the thing that does the action

FOR EXAMPLE
1- Sun rays ARE REFLECTED out to space
2- Too much heat IS KEPT in the earth's atmosphere
3- Gases of the atmosphere ARE CALLED greenhouse gases
