Today's topic : unit 10 Electricity
We discussed all the concepts like
1. Static electricity - objects can be given an electric. Charge by rubbing them
2. Positive and negative charge - opposite charges attract , like charges repel
3.Electrons on the move - The object which gains electrons has a negative charge , the object that loses electrons has a positive charge.
4.Conductors and insulators - metals are good conductors of electricity and non metals are insulators
5.Electric current :
* Electric current is a flow of charge
* Metals conduct electricity because they contain electrons which are free to move.
6.Series and parallel circuit
* A circuit with all the components connected end to end is called a series circuit and current is same
* Components connected side by side are in parallel
