Today's topic : Trends in group 1
Pg.no : 64 & 65 in Ur cambridge check point science grade 9
The important points are
1.The group 1 or first group in the periodic table are alkali metals like
sodium - Na ,
lithium - Li
Potassium - K
2.the elements in group 1 share some properties
3.the trend in group 1is that the melting and boiling point decrease ,as you go down in the group
4. The elements in group 1 react more vigorously with water as you go down in the group.
