Today's topic in physics : three types of radiation

The important points are
The 3 types of radiation are alpha ,beta ,gamma
1.alpha particles ( positive charge):
It's made up of two protons and two neutrons.
2. Beta particles : it's an electron which comes from inside the nucleus.
It's mass less than that of alpha particle
3. Gamma particle :
It's a form of electromagnetic radiation.
Look at table 23.1
Energy released :
Radioactive substance release energy when they decay.
* Kinetic energy : alpha and beta particles
* Electromagnetic radiation :
Gamma ray.
