1.The surface of the earth is covered with rocks, minerals and soil
2.Scientists who study rocks are called geologist
3. Minerals :
rocks are made up of grains of different materials.these different materials are called minerals.
4. Granite is a rock made from quite large crystals of three different minerals
That are quartz , feldspar and mica
5. Soil is made from rocks , minerals and humus
