Today's revision concepts in the earth: sedimentary rocks
Pg.no : 110 & 111
The important points are
1.sedimentary rocks are made from little grains of sediment that are stuck together.Rivers often carry lots of sediment.
2.its made up of layers.
3. Sometimes sedimentary rocks contain fossils
4.they are porous
Example:
*sandstone - is a sedimentary rocks formed when grains of sand were pressed together
* Limestone ( calcium carbonate) - it's formed from little fragments of shells from animals such as corals.
