The important points are
1. A solute dissolves in a solvent to form a solution
2. A solute does not disappear when solution is formed.
3.The particles of the solute have been separated and are so small that they cannot be seen
4. Mass is conserved when solution is formed
Example for solute : salt,sugar etc
Solvent : water
Salt + water -salt solution
