Yesterday we studied the the use of prepositions followed by verbs+ing

Today we will study the use of verbs followed by to + infinitive and how to put an object between the verb and to
# Look at these examples please
1- I didn't fell well, so i asked to go out
1- I asked my friend to help me with my homework
2- I chose to play football instead of swimming
2- The teacher chose Ahmed to lead the group
3- They expect to arrive at 7 AM
3- They expect the plane to arrive at 7 AM
4- it helps to breath slowly when you are nervous
4- It helps you to breath slowly when you are nervous

In these examples you will find that some verbs followed by to + inf / here are some examples of other verbs followed by to + inf ( agree - begin - continue - decide - forget - hope - learn - remember - start - try ), so please pay more attention to the verbs followed by to + inf and how to put an object after the verb



Now let's move to the second part which is composing a negative infinitive sentence

to make a negative sentence we just put " not " after the verb
